Leather or nylon - are the two material options for you to choose when selecting the harness.

Nylon harnesses have soft neoprene cushioned dildo-holding plates. They weight and cost a little bit less than the leather ones. They are also very easy to take care of. Just throw it in a washing machine and hang it up to dry. Also, the nylon harness is the one to use if you plan to employ it in a hot tub adventure. The fastener options could be less important than general design or material. Still you might take into account plusses and minuses of different types of buckles, clamps and rings. The old fashioned pierce-through buckles look good and, most importantly, hold the best and will never loosen up on you at the most important moments. Once you figured out which hole to use your harness will fit you with no miss precision. On the other hand the metal D-rings or plastic tension-lock clamps are infinitely adjustable. They are also easier to tighten up while in action if you happened to change you mind about initial setting.

There are two alternatives for a dildo base support in harnesses. Here are the subtleties to consider when contemplating whether you should have a harness with O-ring tied to a through opening without a solid backup pad or with a padding that covers the dildo's base.
